Is it safe to borrow library materials?

Research in library-specific environments has demonstrated that covid is not easily transmitted through surfaces. Library items are safe to borrow.

When will the library reopen?

The temporary closure will be reviewed on a biweekly basis until it is determined that the library has met its staffing needs and can operate safely. Presently the anticipated date of reopening is January 23.

Can I borrow items from other area Libraries?

Yes! You can borrow materials from our PCIN partner libraries by placing a hold online or calling us.

Our InterLibrary Loan (ILLO) is also available to borrow material in other Ontario libraries.

The library book drop is open 24/7 and materials can be returned any time. Library fines will not be charged on overdue materials until further notice.
