The SPL Foundation has released "Our Love is Here to Stay" - a CD of easy listening jazz favourites featuring the Jo Deslippe Quintet. All the musicians have offered their talent and time free of charge, in support of the SPL Foundation’s initiative, Public Library on Wheels (PLOW). Proceeds from the live concert in 2003 and $20 from each CD sale will go towards the Stratford Public Library Foundation to support ongoing Library projects such as PLOW. Ask for this great cd at the Stratford Public Library.
Overdue
Family and friends may find their name listed in OVERDUE: Stratford Library Services 1846 - 2003 written by Dean Robinson and one of the Library’s centennial year projects. Overdue is a very enjoyable read and is filled with photos spanning many years. All proceeds from the sale of Overdue, will go towards the Stratford Public Library Foundation (The Orr Family Endowment Fund) to support ongoing Library projects such as PLOW. The cost of Overdue is just $20.00, and we can arrange to have it autographed by the author.
 Get Lost...In A Book
Get Lost…in a book! This series of four beautifully produced posters was created with lots of local talent. The local theatre community was exceptionally supportive as Colm Feore, Cynthia Dale, Peter Donaldson and Sheila McCarthy, and Christopher Plummer donated their time for this worthy project. All proceeds from the sale of the posters, available individually or as a set, will go towards the Chalmer's Public Rescource Collection to support ongoing projects. Magazine Sponsorship
REMEMBER A FRIEND with a gift of a magazine subscription in their name with The FRIENDS of the Library Adopt-a-Magazine project. A full subscription allows the name of the donor to be displayed prominently on the magazine and recognized in the Library; however, any size donation made to the Friends can be put towards a subscription.
