Next Meeting - 27 April 2009
The first Ontario SirsiDynix Users Group Meeting will be hosted by The Hospital Library & Archives at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto on April 27, 2009.

This is the first meeting of the new Ontario SirsiDynix Users Group (interim name) bringing together users of Horizon, Symphony and Unicorn. In addition to product and corporate presentations from SirsiDynix, the agenda includes a number of technical sessions and a business meeting meant to discuss the creation of our new users’ group. Those involved in planning this event are confident that all of the sessions will be helpful and interesting.

Agenda includes:

  • 8:30am - Regristation, Meet & Greet and Coffee/Snacks
  • 9:30am - Open Remarks - Joanne Comper and Ken MacLeod
  • 9:45am - SirsiDynix Corporate Update
  • 10:30am - Break
  • 10:45am - SirsiDynix Product Update
  • 11:45am - Lunch
  • 1:00pm - Horizon to Symphony Migration OR Batch Loading for Unicorn/Symphony Libraries
  • 1:45pm - Pocket Circ OR Enhancement Process (Group Discussion)
  • 2:30pm - Coffee Break
  • 3:00pm - FRBR and RDA - Thomas Brenndorfer
  • 3:45pm - Business Meeting
  • 4:30pm - Closing Remarks

Lunch will be $12.00. Payment can be by cash (exact change) or cheque made out to: Hospital Library, The Hospital for Sick Children.
