Community in Motion Accessibility Awareness Fair

The Library is participating in this Fair which will raise awareness of products/services available to persons with disabilities in an effort to promote a barrier-free community.

In partnership with Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County.

This is a list of great fiction and non-fiction reads, carefully chosen by a committee of Ontario librarians, to be read and shared and voted on by library users province-wide.

Join in

Adults of any age are invited to read one, two, or all of the nominated titles and then vote by filling out a ballot available at the Library. Voting takes place during Ontario Public Library Week, October 20-26.

The winner will be announced in November and the award presented during the Ontario Library Association Super Conference in February 2014.

The Evergreen program at SPL has been sponsored by the Friends of the Stratford Public Library.

Waterloo Lectures

The Waterloo Lectures at the Stratford Public Library bring leading scholars, forward thinkers, and experts from the University of Waterloo to the City of Stratford to address an eclectic range of topics.

All Waterloo Lectures are open to the public and free of charge. Please register by clicking on the title of the lecture. After each lecture, please stay for the brief question and answer period.
