More and more, searching and applying for jobs occur online. You will need to know how to navigate the Internet and have an e-mail address.
- Computer classes - Learn how to use a computer, get an e-mail address, type a letter.
- E-mail classes - Learn how to set up an e-mail address.
- FREE use of resume computers - The lower floor of the library has a computer to help with resume writing. You may use this computer for two hours per day, which does not count toward your general Internet time. Printing is $0.10 per page.

SPL Career Centre
SPL's Career Centre is located on the main floor of the library in the Reference area. The Career Centre provides a wealth of materials to help you locate job postings, brush up your resume, prepare for job interviews, investigate alternate career opportunities, or find educational programs.

- employer directories
- university, college, and private school calendars from across Canada
- national and international college and university directories
- entrance exam preparation guides and scholarship directories
- occupational encyclopedias and the National Occupational Classification

Offering content from nearly 400 journals, this collection provides content from general career guides to highly specialized industry journals.
