Library Cards Section Heading

Any resident of Stratford, St. Marys, Perth East, West Perth or Perth South may obtain a Stratford Public Library Card free of charge.  Simply come to our convenient downtown location, fill out a registration form and show a piece of identification with your current address on it.

Your library card is a permanent card, renewable yearly, and must be brought to the library every time you wish to borrow materials.  Please notify the library immediately if your library card becomes lost as you are responsible for materials checked out on your card until the time of notification.  There is a $3.00 charge to replace a lost or damaged card.

Thanks to the Perth County Information Network, your Stratford Library card allows you to borrow items from the St. Marys, West Perth (Mitchell), and Perth East (Milverton) public libraries.

Reciprocal borrowing is available with Oxford County, Huron County, and Waterloo Regional libraries.  Members of those libraries are welcome to get a Stratford Public Library card by coming in with their home library card and a piece of identification (ie. driver's license, age of majority card). Stratford Public Library card holders can also go into any of these libraries with their cards and obtain a library card at that location
