Getting Into The Library
The Stratford Public Library is equipped with two wheelchair accessible entrances and one accessible parking space. The entrance facing St. Andrew Street has an automatic push button door. The door from the Church Street parking lot is equipped with a buzzer. Inside the library there is an elevator that will travel to all three floors.
If you need special services within the Library, we have a catalogue station that is wheelchair accessible.
Library Resources
The Stratford Public Library has a large collection of large print books. There is also a vast collection of books on cd - both fiction and non-fiction items. If you enjoy technology, why not try downloading an audiobook to listen to on your computer or mp3 player? Free from www.downloadlibrary.ca
Can't Get to the Library?
If you are unable to get to the Library due to age, illness or disability, you can participate in the SPL Home Delivery Service. Through this service, a variety of library materials, including books, paperbacks, large print books, DVDs, and/or videos are selected and delivered to you FREE of charge. Library materials are selected with your interests and special needs in mind and delivered to you by library volunteers.
